Beverly Sills

Anthony Strand joins us for a highly cultured episode to talk about racism disclaimers, Lobster Newburgh, 70s fashion, Johnny Cash being a giant, Conan O’Brien’s lip-sync “puppet” nightmares…oh yeah, and Beverly Sills is here! Was opera big in the 70s or was the monoculture small? Is this the weirdest episode? One of the best? Both? Do we, like the Muppets, wish we could hang out with Beverly Sills and practice our spoon-hanging? Let’s find out!

With Our Very Special Guest Star…Anthony Strand!

Anthony Strand grew up in North Dakota, where he sometimes got to watch Muppet Show reruns at his grandmother’s house. He’s now a school librarian in Minnesota and the co-host of Movin’ Right Along, a Muppet Movie podcast from toughpigs.com. Anthony has the honor of being our first returning returning guest to the podcast, having previously joined us to discuss both the Avery Schreiber episode and the George Burns episode!
